Specialist for precision graphite machining
CTG – Carbon Technology Germany is a specialised engineering company for precision graphite machining headquartered in Bad Breisig. The company saws, turns, mills and grinds components directly from the raw block – using diamond tools, CAD/CAM-supported processes and high repeatability. Production is carried out to customer specifications from high-purity fine-grain graphite, CFC, rigid and soft felts, as well as the in-house developed graphite-plastic composite CGS, which is hot-pressed among other things for bipolar plates in fuel cells. In addition to new production, CTG offers repair and reconditioning of graphite components, technical consulting and R&D support, as well as manufacturer-independent material selection and procurement with traceability back to the raw material batch. Customers come from the semiconductor industry, renewable energy technology, mechanical and furnace engineering, aerospace and the chemical industry. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and manufactures from one-off pieces to automated, robot-based large-scale series.
