About CUNA

CUNA Products GmbH, based in Dortmund, develops and distributes a deposit-based reusable system for gastronomy, bakeries, canteens, educational institutions as well as sports and event occasions. The product range includes reusable cups (0.2–0.4 L), reusable bowls (0.8–1.1 L) and the patented SPRINT cup for running events. All products are made of a biobased plastic (Bio PE) consisting of more than 90 percent renewable raw materials such as sugar cane residues and wood, and according to the company it binds around 1.5 kg of CO2 equivalent per kilogram of material. Production takes place in Germany, and dishwasher suitability is certified according to DIN EN 12875. In addition to the deposit system, CUNA offers rental options for seasonal gastronomy and events, an own recycling concept for worn-out products, cleaning services, POS material as well as LoopPilot, a reusable reporting software. More than 1,500 partners use the system, including bakery Grobe and Widynski & Roick GmbH.
