About Curaris Health

Curaris Health is a medical technology startup founded in 2025 in Regensburg. The interdisciplinary team is developing an intelligent, sensor-supported seat cushion for wheelchair users, designed to prevent decubitus (pressure ulcers). The core is an adaptive seat cushion with integrated pressure sensing, which captures and analyzes pressure distribution in real time. Based on this data, ergonomic air chambers are automatically regulated to specifically relieve stressed body areas. The system is complemented by an app for visualizing pressure trends, individual settings, and evaluating long-term medical developments. The company is currently working on further developing prototypes and the accompanying software, as well as preparing for test phases before the planned market entry. The headquarters is located in the BioPark Regensburg.
