Curef GmbH Metall- und Kunststoffhandel is a medium-sized trading company founded in 1989 in Ennepetal (North Rhine-Westphalia) and based in Wetter Albringhausen since 2009. The focus is on the purchase and sale as well as the processing of high-quality aluminium scrap, complemented by copper scrap and plastics as well as aluminium foils, sheets and plates. The scrap is processed for use in melting furnaces, with the company advising its customers on in-house logistics, furnace charging and recycling concepts. The aim is the most complete possible reuse of the material in line with a closed-loop philosophy. The offering is supplemented by an own forwarding and container service as well as logistics concepts for plant waste of major customers. Since 2006 the company has been ISO 9001 certified and since 2008 recognised as a certified waste management company (Entsorgungsfachbetrieb).
