About CVT
CVT GmbH & Co. KG, based in the Allgäu region, is an owner-managed company specialising in technologies in the field of chemical vapour deposition (CVD), chemical vapour infiltration (CVI) and technical ceramics. Using the CVD process, the company produces high-performance ceramics, in particular components and crucibles made of pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN), ceramic coatings and heater modules. With its in-house developed rapid chemical vapour infiltration process (r-CVI), CVT produces carbon composite materials (C/C), which are used, among other things, as brake discs and brake pads in Formula 1 motorsport as well as nozzles and CFC components. In the field of technical ceramics, the company manufactures components such as dowel pins made of oxide and non-oxide ceramics such as aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide and silicon nitride. Customers can be found in semiconductor technology, in the manufacture of photovoltaic panels and OLED materials as well as in motorsport. In addition, CVT offers systems for chemical-free natural water purification and for air purification using ionisers, and develops new technologies and materials together with customers and partners.
