About cwTec
cwTec Gesellschaft für Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau mbH is a family company founded in 1991, based in Hage in East Frisia with around 90 employees. The company manufactures components and complete systems from initial idea through prototype to series production. Its range of services includes classic CNC machining (turning, milling, turn-milling with up to 8 axes), wire and sinker EDM, waterjet cutting, surface and cylindrical grinding as well as precision metrology in the micrometre range. In addition, cwTec develops and builds complex systems and machines, including its own industrial control technology with in-house PCB manufacturing. Key focuses are spare parts manufacturing and retrofitting for tea packaging machines (including IMA, Teepack, FUSO), environmental technology for sewer cleaning and rehabilitation, and customers from the wind energy, industrial, medical and research sectors. Its own developments include the knotting unit for tea bags without metal staples, the Climbolino®E milling robot and the "Seeing North Sea Nozzle".
