About Cybershell Technologies

Cybershell Technologies develops modular external protection systems (Roboshells) and deployment infrastructure for industrial humanoid robots in manufacturing and logistics environments. The multilayer architecture of TPU/PC/PA composites with optional carbon or Kevlar reinforcement offers impact damping, wear protection, UV and chemical resistance, and tested EU fire protection standards. The protection modules are designed passively – without electronics, power, radio or data – and enable damage localization through replaceable modules, reduced repair costs and maintenance effort. In addition, surfaces can be designed with corporate designs (colors, logos, textures) for brand communication. Material testing, environmental simulation and validation are carried out in cooperation with accredited testing laboratories such as OFI. The company, headquartered in Vienna, is in the build-up phase and is currently developing its first mechanical architecture with FFG-funded prototyping; an industrial pilot application is in preparation.
