About CYKERO

CYKERO is a European premium refurbishment company headquartered in Montpellier (France), founded in 2020 in Berlin. The company refurbishes used electronics – smartphones, tablets, laptops, Apple Watch and headphones – and sells them to private customers as well as to commercial partners such as retailers, wholesalers, device fleets and public-sector buyers. The entire value chain is internalized: sourcing, diagnostics, repair, certified data erasure, quality release and sales are all handled in-house. Every device goes through over 70 control points (PhoneCheck), receives a new battery if battery capacity is below 85%, and is data-erased according to the HMG IS5 standard. In addition, CYKERO manufactures handcrafted leather accessories (CYKERO Collection) from recycled LVMH leather in Montpellier. In 2024 the company achieved €27 million in revenue; the operational hub with the Technocentre 5.0 currently under construction (4,000 m², opening planned for 2026) is located in Castelnau-le-Lez, with a German office of CYKERO GmbH in Berlin.

Every device goes through over 70 control points across six component families (display, battery, connectivity, cameras/audio, sensors, housing/software); batteries below 85% capacity are replaced without exception. Data erasure is carried out according to the HMG IS5 standard with an erasure certificate per device; all devices are traceable via blockchain (DPP-ready for 2027).
