D+H Deutschland GmbH, based in Ammersbek near Hamburg, is the service and support company of the D+H Group for system solutions in smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV), elevator shaft smoke extraction and natural building ventilation. Nearly 200 employees handle the conception, design, delivery, installation and commissioning of SHEV and ventilation systems throughout Germany. Services also include brand-independent maintenance, inspection and repair of all common makes, hold-open system service, training through the D+H Academy and a 24-hour emergency hotline. The products of the corporate group – window drives, SHEV control panels, detectors and accessories – are manufactured by D+H Mechatronic AG; materials used include aluminium, die-cast aluminium, sheet steel, steel chains and plastic. For more than 50 years the company has implemented smoke and heat exhaust ventilation solutions and was a pioneer of electromotive smoke extraction. Reference projects range from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce to the National Maritime Museum Greenwich.
