About Déploya
Déploya is a robotics startup from Lausanne that automates vertical work in construction. The company is developing a rapidly deployable, modular vertical scaffolding grid based on origami folding and self-assembly principles, which serves as a platform for automating façade work. Integrated rails enable the use of mobile robotic tools for tasks such as marking, drilling and, in the future, the complete installation of façade panels. The first MVP is deployed on existing scaffolds and automates CAD-to-field projection as well as anomaly detection to increase scaffold safety. Déploya is a spin-off of the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (LIS) at EPFL and was funded with an IgnitionGrant in 2025 and an InnoGrant in 2026. Its target customers are construction companies in façade construction that want to reduce safety risks, long installation times and errors caused by manual work.
