About Nelskamp
Dachziegelwerke Nelskamp GmbH is a group-independent family-owned company based in Schermbeck (North Rhine-Westphalia) and one of the leading manufacturers of roof covering materials in Germany. Its core product range comprises clay roof tiles, concrete roof tiles, fitting tiles and roof ornaments, accessories, solar tile systems for building-integrated photovoltaics, and, since 2021, single-component ELAPRO liquid polymers for roof and balcony waterproofing. Clay roof tiles are fired as coarse ceramics in tunnel kilns and refined with engobes, fine engobes, glazes or steaming techniques; concrete roof tiles are made from sand, cement, water and colour pigments, among other methods on extrusion lines. In addition, the company offers green roof tiles made from recycled plastic (LIVINGROOF) as well as complete construction site delivery. Production takes place at six locations in Germany with nationwide supply of the roofing trade, the building materials trade and the planning sector. In 2023, the company generated revenue of over 130 million euros with an average of 560 employees.
