About DACMA
DACMA GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, develops and manufactures modular Direct Air Capture (DAC) systems for capturing CO2 from ambient air. The company supplies the systems (DACMA machines) as standalone machines or including installation and commissioning on the customer's site; installation is carried out with the involvement of specialised subcontractors engaged by DACMA. In addition, DACMA offers training for customer personnel as well as high-quality CO2 certificates (carbon credits) verified in accordance with transparent carbon removal standards. The patented reactor design with optimised airflow and exchangeable adsorbents enables deployment under very different climatic conditions – from offshore to the Global South – and is modularly designed for gigatonne-scale expansion. The company operates in South America and Europe, has recorded over 3,000 operating hours and cooperates, among others, with Repsol, Phoenix Contact, Deep Sky, PUC Rio Grande do Sul and the Lother Group (HAMBURG BLUE HUB). In 2025, the ground-breaking ceremony took place for the DACMA Competence Center in Hamburg.
