About Daikin Applied Europe
Daikin Applied Europe S.p.A., headquartered in Ariccia (Rome), develops and manufactures components and systems for hydronic HVAC applications: air- and water-cooled chillers, air-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps, multifunction units, air handling units (AHU), fan coils and intelligent control and regulation technology. Manufacturing includes unit assembly, balance brazing and mechanical pipe processing as well as in-house production of scroll, screw and turbo compressors at the Ariccia site. At Settala near Milan, air handling units are manufactured, including profile cutting, panel fabrication (cutting, punching, bending) and application of polyurethane seals. In Vicenza, electronic circuit boards, power electronic inverters for driving electric motors as well as electrical panels are produced with assembly and testing. The company originated in 1968 from a joint venture as McQuay Europa and has been part of the Daikin Group since the acquisition of the OYL Group in 2006; in 2014 it was renamed Daikin Applied Europe. Customers come from data centers, hotels, educational institutions, office and industrial facilities as well as stadiums; reference projects include CERN, ENGELBERT STRAUSS, TKS, the University of Cartagena and the Plopsa Hotel in Belgium. Sales and after-sales service in the German-speaking region are handled via Daikin Applied Germany GmbH with locations in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Berlin and Königs Wusterhausen.
