About Daikin Chemical Europe
Daikin Chemical Europe GmbH, founded in 1992, is the European headquarters of the Chemical Division of Daikin Industries Ltd., based in Düsseldorf. The company offers high-performance fluorochemical products, including fluoropolymers such as PTFE, fluoroelastomers, fluor coatings, additives such as flame retardants and anti-dripping agents, as well as hydrocarbon-based polymer processing aids (HC-PPA). Via Daikin Compounding Italy in Collebeato, custom compounds and polymer blends are offered; the portfolio also includes high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PEI and PPS as well as elastomers and biodegradable plastics. An Innovation Center in Dortmund and the global R&D infrastructure of the Daikin Group support customers in application development, for example for dry-coated electrodes in solid-state batteries. The locations in Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Frankfurt am Main as well as in France and Italy serve industries ranging from automotive and semiconductor technology to HVAC and electronics, life science and construction.
