About damm-solar
The damm-solar GmbH was founded in 2012 in Kaiserslautern and plans and installs complete energy systems for private, commercial and industrial customers in the West Palatinate region and Rhineland-Palatinate. The service portfolio includes photovoltaic systems, battery storage, air/water heat pumps, wallboxes and charging infrastructure as well as energy management systems with active and reactive power control at the grid connection point. For commercial and industrial customers, the company offers individually configurable solutions under the name Energie+, comprising photovoltaics (rooftop and ground-mounted), commercial storage, energy management and charging points; for private customers, a coordinated system of five building blocks. Installation is carried out by the company's own teams without subcontractors, including scaffolding, grid operator registration and commissioning. Components from established manufacturers such as Heckert Solar, SMA, E3/DC, BYD and Buderus are used. According to its own figures, the company has so far served more than 6,000 customers, integrated over 2,000 electricity storage systems and realized more than 60 MWp of capacity for commercial and industrial customers.

Silicon (solar cells)
The solar cells of the PV modules are mostly made of silicon, which converts sunlight directly into direct current.
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP)
LFP cell chemistry is used in the integrated battery storage systems (e.g. SMA Home Storage, E3/DC S20 X PRO).
