About Danfol
Danfol Vertriebs-GmbH für Industriebedarf was founded in 1989 and has its company headquarters on Große Bockenheimer Straße in Frankfurt am Main. The company distributes over 11,000 tonnes of plastic per year, focusing on plastic sheets (plastic semi-finished products) made of PMMA (acrylic), polystyrene (PS), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) and polycarbonate (PC), which are mainly produced in Israel, Spain and Bulgaria. Since January 2017, Danfol has also been distributing optical thin films made of PMMA and PC with thicknesses of 0.5 to 1.5 mm from the Israeli manufacturer Plazit Polygal. Applications made from the sheets range from noise barriers and refrigerator display door panels to POS and advertising materials such as a foosball table made of 30 mm Acryl XT. In addition to distribution, Danfol offers consulting in the plastics sector and supports customers from material planning through to implementation. The Danfol corporate group includes the 100 percent subsidiary Danfol Printable Films GmbH in Nuremberg, which will be merged with Danfol Vertriebs-GmbH in 2026.
