About DANmed | STERIS Deutschland GmbH

DANmed | STERIS Deutschland GmbH (formerly DANNORITZER Medizintechnik GmbH & Co. KG) is a company based in Tuttlingen since 1975, specializing in the manufacturing of repair parts for medical and surgical instruments. Furthermore, surgical instruments of all types and from various manufacturers are repaired in-house; the offering also includes innovations and custom-made parts, as well as complete surgical instrument sets. Production is carried out using CNC manufacturing with CNC milling machines and CNC turning machines, since 2016 supported by a KUKA small robot (KR AGILUS) in a mobile robot cell to optimize the milling process. Design and order processing are managed through a continuous CAD/CAM solution with PTC Creo, as well as digitized order processing (DOQ, Industry 4.0). As part of the STERIS Group, DANmed supplies hospitals, intermediaries, and manufacturers such as Stryker; a large portion of the products is exported, mainly to the EU and USA. The company is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and operates a webshop for spare parts and complete instruments.
