About Dannemann Global Extrusion
Dannemann Global Extrusion GmbH (DGE) is an Austrian manufacturer of PET plastic films for packaging applications. Its portfolio of services includes the extrusion of films with defined properties such as color, surface, recycled content and food-contact purity, as well as the metallization of films. Since 2011, the company has operated a reactor for the food-grade processing of recycled flakes; PET flakes are ground, washed and thus prepared for reuse in film production. This makes the company part of the circular economy, in which films made from PET are recycled and processed again into new films. The production site is located in Austria on a site where a brickworks was operated around 1950; the production halls were built in 1991 and the extrusion production started in 1992 as Lustro Lenzing. Dannemann Global Extrusion GmbH was founded in 1997 and has been led by Managing Director Carsten Schuster since 2023.
