About Darto
Darto GmbH, based in Wuppertal, offers measuring and testing technology for industry, education and research. The product range includes universal and tensile testing machines in the force range from 1 N to 2000 kN, pendulum impact testers, hardness testers, metallography equipment for sample preparation as well as an extensive range of clamping fixtures and accessories. The company's own Darto PM series (3 to 50 kN) is manufactured in Germany and achieves accuracy class 0.5 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7500-1; machines up to 2 MN are supplied by the French partner 3R from Montauban, which Darto has represented exclusively since 2026. In addition to selling new, used and demonstration machines, the company offers factory and DAkkS calibrations, maintenance, repair and modernization, rental machines, contract testing, training courses and a procurement service. Customers come from industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, medical technology, mechanical engineering, chemicals as well as rubber and plastics technology. Service technicians travel throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the BeNeLux countries and France.
