Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Munich, DATA MODUL AG has specialized in industrial display technologies for more than five decades. The company manufactures customized display and system solutions, integrates touchscreen systems (PCAP, resistive, SAW, infrared) and uses optical bonding with acrylic- and silicone-based SCA materials. The value chain includes design-in, research & development, qualification and certification, series production, logistics and lifecycle management, including embedded Linux BSP and cloud SDK integration (AWS, Microsoft Azure). Production takes place on approximately 21,000 m² at the technology flagship site in Weikersheim with flexible production lines and all bonding technologies, since 2019 on around 24,000 m² in Lublin (Polen) and since 2020 in Shanghai for local assembly to German quality standards. Demanding customers come from industrial automation, mobility, smart building & retail, healthcare and entertainment. The company employs more than 550 people and serves customers worldwide.
