About Datacept
Datacept GmbH is a German company founded in Hamburg in 2024 specializing in cognitive electronic warfare systems. The platform combines passive, software-defined broadband sensing with AI-supported signal analysis, detecting radio emitters such as commercial drones or unknown sources in real time without transmitting itself. Models for the detection and classification of signals are developed and trained from received I/Q data; in addition, Datacept builds the complete RF data infrastructure, from I/Q recording and auto-annotation through to RFML training. The results are translated into alerting, geolocalization and cueing of countermeasures, from soft-kill jamming to the integration of hard-kill components. The systems are designed to be hardware-agnostic and can be integrated into existing command, sensor and effector architectures. Areas of application include counter-UAS, critical infrastructure (KRITIS) protection, airports, ports, rail infrastructure, events, VIP protection as well as military applications in Germany, the EU and NATO.
