About Datec Electronic AG
Datec Electronic AG is an electronics development office based in Switzerland, operating primarily in the fields of industrial electronics and building automation. The company develops and manufactures KNX devices such as fancoil actuators, switching actuators, binary inputs, temperature sensors, valves and power supplies for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting. Its service offering covers the entire product lifecycle: from planning and development through documentation and prototype construction to small-series and series production in its own manufacturing facilities. Series production of the electronic devices is carried out by the production partner Eurotron component s.r.o. in Nizna, Slovakia. Device housings are made of UL94-V0 flame-retardant polycarbonate, and the devices comply with EMC standards according to EN 61000. Customers come from building automation, HVAC and lighting technology; in the Middle East, Total Automation General Trading Co. LLC (Dubai) distributes the products. Locations are Basel, Rüti ZH and Nizna.
