Qualification and testing services from a single source
DAUtec GmbH, based in Hamburg, is a service provider specialised in the aerospace industry for qualification, type testing and testing services. The company develops individual test plans and coordinates complete test programmes for civil and military Airborne Equipment (ABE) as well as Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) – from the preparation of Qualification Plan, Test Procedure, Test Report and Design Analysis through to the execution and supervision of all laboratory tests. In its own environmental laboratories in Hamburg (on the premises of Lufthansa Technik AG) and at Lübeck Airport, environmental simulations are performed such as shock and vibration tests on shakers, temperature and humidity tests in climatic chambers, fluids susceptibility tests, altitude and pressure tests, salt fog, sand/dust and fire/flammability tests in accordance with RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810 and further standards. A dedicated area with an anechoic chamber is available for EMC testing in accordance with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-461/462, complemented by HASS/HALT stress tests and a self-constructed centrifuge for static accelerations. Further service areas are Test Witnessing, Remote Witnessing, DER Witnessing, technical documentation (AMM, CMM, IPC, among others) and support in aircraft accident investigations. Customers come from aerospace, defence technology and automotive engineering.
