About dbds
dbds - Deutsche Biogas Dach-Systeme GmbH, based in Kreuzau-Stockheim (district of Düren), is a system supplier of double-membrane gas holders for biogas plants. Founded in 2011 as a subsidiary of Verseidag-Indutex (Krefeld) and Seybold (Düren), the company manufactures biogas membranes from PVC-coated polyester fabric (areal weights 800–1,500 g/m²) using high-frequency welding processes at two plants in Kreuzau and Düren-Gürzenich, operating in three shifts. In addition to the membranes, dbds delivers a complete system with stainless steel components (clamping rails, central support, crown ring), polyester strap substructure, support air supply, over/underpressure protection and gas level measurement technology. The range of services includes consulting and design, verifiable structural calculations according to DIN EN 1991-1-4, implementation of TRAS-120, assembly by two installation teams as well as research and development, among other things with the LowE technology for reducing heat losses. Customers come from agriculture, industry, municipal energy supply, wastewater treatment plants and biowaste fermentation; since 2011 more than 3,500 roofs have been sold, and projects have also been delivered to Turkey and worldwide.
