About the DBI-Gruppe
The DBI-Gruppe is an independent corporate group of DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water), headquartered in Freiberg. It combines industry-oriented research and development with engineering, consulting, testing services, analytics and training for gas, hydrogen and energy technologies. The fields of expertise cover the entire value chain: gas production and storage, transport and distribution, gas treatment, gas utilization through to energy system analyses. The group comprises DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH and DBI – Gastechnologisches Institut gGmbH Freiberg with a testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and the Gas Training Centre. In the Bad Lauchstädt Energy Park, the group operates a gas treatment plant that conditions green hydrogen to industrial-grade quality. Customers come from the gas and energy industry, hydrogen technology, biogas technology, industrial burner technology and deep geothermal energy.
