About DBW Advanced Fiber Technologies
DBW Advanced Fiber Technologies is a globally active developer, producer and processor of fiber and metal products for the automotive industry and non-automotive applications. The company covers the entire spectrum from fiber production to the finished component. The in-house product families include biosil®, powertex®, powerfil®, powermat®, protext®, bicomat®, stainless steel wool as well as powershield® metal components such as heat shields. The products are non-combustible and highly effective in thermal and acoustic terms, and are used among other things in exhaust technology, engine and interior encapsulation, composites, the construction industry, shipbuilding and fire protection. Around 933 employees work at the Bovenden site near Göttingen; the DBW Group comprises nine sites worldwide. Through its subsidiary DBW tec in Hildesheim, the company also offers toolmaking, CNC machining, a foundry pilot plant for aluminium sand casting, grey cast iron and steel casting, as well as testing services.
