About De Tomaso
De Tomaso Automobili is an Italian sports car manufacturer with its origins in Modena, founded in 1959 by the Italo-Argentine racing driver Alejandro de Tomaso with the financial support of the American Rowan Controller Industries. The company began by building racing vehicles for private drivers and formula prototypes, including a Formula 2 car that was entered in the 1961 World Championship. From 1964, small-series road vehicles followed, such as the Vallelunga (1963–1968), the Mangusta (1966–1971) and the Italian-American classic Pantera (1970–1993). After the discontinuation of the historical production in 2012, the brand was realigned under Ideal Team Ventures Limited via Apollo Automobil. Today the models P72 and P900 are being created, the latter with a confirmed V12 specification in collaboration with ItalTecnica, including an online configurator for individualization such as paint, coating, livery and leather.
