About Debrunner Bewetec

Debrunner Bewetec AG is a Swiss supplier of reinforcement for structural and civil engineering. At modern bending plants at three locations (Regensdorf, Buchs SG, Büron), reinforcing steels and reinforcement assemblies are manufactured just-in-time to customer requirements. The product range includes reinforcing steels B500B/B500C, higher-strength reinforcing steel Top700, stainless reinforcing steels (Top12, ACIGRIP 362/462), galvanised reinforcing steel PREZINC 500, demagnetised reinforcement MAGEX, as well as reinforcement mats, BAMTEC reinforcement technology and a broad programme of rebar accessory products such as connection systems, spacer cages and shear dowels. Under the Nexigen brand, the company offers CO2-reduced reinforcement produced using hydropower and a high proportion of regional scrap. As of 1 January 2026, Debrunner Acifer Bewehrungen AG and BEWETEC AG will merge to form Debrunner Bewetec; at the same time, Debrunner Bewehrungstechnik AG will be founded. A technology centre covering more than 40'000 m² is being built in Laufenburg; the first stage comprises around 15'300 tonnes of delivery capacity. The company belongs to the Debrunner Koenig Group (part of Klöckner & Co since 1997).
