About DECISION SA

DECISION SA is a Swiss manufacturer specialized in composite materials, based in Ecublens near Lausanne. Since its foundation in 1984, the company has been developing and manufacturing innovative structures that leverage the particular properties of carbon fiber, glass fiber and aramid. Its range of services covers development and design, prototype construction as well as the manufacture of components and subassemblies made of composite. Initially, DECISION was primarily active in boatbuilding – from offshore racing boats and America's Cup boats for Alinghi to racing boats for Lake Geneva as well as motorboats and professional rescue and passenger transport boats. Since 2000 the company has also been active in aviation and became the main supplier of the carbon fiber structures for the Solar Impulse project. Its customers and partners include, alongside Alinghi and Solar Impulse, CGN, Sea Bubbles and EPFL as a research partner. DECISION is a member of Swissmem and delivers within Switzerland.
