Defratec GmbH from Mannheim is a manufacturer of stainless steel tanks and systems for the wine, brewery, beverage, milk and food industries as well as for custom industrial applications. The portfolio includes fermentation tanks, storage tanks, CCT tanks, mixing tanks, pressure vessels, CIP tanks, jacketed cooling tanks and on-site welded large tanks through to complete systems such as tank farms, grape receiving stations, cooling and product lines. Production takes place at the company's own production site in Mannheim by certified welders; vessels receive a mirror-polish finish that does not allow microorganisms to adhere to the surface. The range of services extends from consulting, concept studies and layout planning to manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning, through to service, maintenance and original spare parts, also for Defranceschi and AMOS products. In addition, contract manufacturing of special vessels and a trading range of pumps, filtration technology, valves and fittings are offered.
