About DEHNE Entstaubungstechnik® AG
DEHNE Entstaubungstechnik® AG, headquartered in Pfäffikon SZ (Switzerland), develops and markets plasma units based on a low-temperature plasma process for the disinfection of indoor air and surfaces. A specially designed electrode generates a conductive air-gas mixture, thereby creating low-temperature plasma; a particular electrode configuration and surface produce the "active oxygen" that is effective for disinfection, which is fully consumed in the oxidation process and decays back into oxygen. The process destroys up to 99.999% of microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, mold, spores and odors; the destruction of SARS-CoV-2 has been demonstrated. The compact plasma units (among others 12 V DC, 4 W, 77 × 50 × 23 mm, 62.5 g) are suitable for ventilation and air-conditioning systems, waiting rooms, dental care, care facilities, hotels and restaurants, public transport, motorhomes, passenger cars, and installation in refrigerators. Treated air reduces the microbial load when inhaled and can help allergy sufferers. Contact person is Hans-Werner Dehne.
