DeinFotoDruck KLG is an owner-managed family business based in Kölliken in the canton of Aargau, founded in January 2017 by Marc and Melanie Rüegg. The company designs and prints personalized photo gifts and gift items such as keychains, photo tins, glass cutting boards and coasters. Printing is done using sublimation printing (transfer printing), in which dye is transferred to the item with a transfer press under high heat – photorealistic and possible from a single piece. For cake toppers, a food-grade inkjet printer with food-safe inks is used, printing on edible paper and fondant at a resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. Design and ordering run through an online product designer; since October 2023 there is also a retail store with Click & Collect in Kölliken. Shipping from the Swiss warehouse covers, among others, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany and Austria.
