DELTA Engineering & Chemistry GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2000 and specializes in chemical products and processes for electroplating and plastic metallization. The company produces PVC dipping plastisols (DELTACoat) for the insulation of electroplating racks as well as high-purity specialty chemicals, among other things for electronic components, and offers custom syntheses of fine chemicals. With the StratOx® process, a chromium(VI)-free pickling solution for the pre-treatment of plastics for decorative chrome plating was developed, which serves as a sustainable alternative to chromic-sulfuric acid. In addition, the company offers contract analytics for electroplating, contract development of chemical processes and products, process and procedure development, and the development of wastewater treatment concepts. With around twelve employees, the company operates a laboratory site in Berlin (Siemensstadt) serving customers from electroplating, plastic metallization, electronics and the chemical industry.
