DELTA SAS, based in Entzheim (France), develops and manufactures sensors and measuring systems for the steel industry, in particular for continuous casting plants, hot rolling mills (long and flat products) as well as cold rolling mills and processing lines. The product portfolio includes hot metal detectors (HMD), infrared loop scanners, optical and laser light barriers, inductive proximity switches for high ambient temperatures, laser measuring devices and compact measuring systems. The housings of the light barriers are made of cast aluminium to withstand the harsh rolling mill environmental conditions. In addition to new product manufacturing, the company offers a repair service including cleaning, evaluation, calibration and performance testing with a 6-month warranty, spare parts and assemblies, as well as test benches for HMD and loop scanner sensors. With subsidiaries in China, Germany, India and the USA as well as brochures in ten languages, DELTA supplies customers worldwide.
