About us
DELTA Tierernährung GmbH is an internationally active company founded in 1986 and headquartered in Teisendorf (Upper Bavaria). The company produces mineral and supplementary feed as well as its own premixes exclusively as contract manufacturing for distribution companies and other manufacturers, both inside and outside the EU. The products are offered as dust-bound powder or as pellets with different diameters. The targeted use of vitamins, trace elements, additives, minerals and selected herbs serves to balance nutritional imbalances. Focus areas are mineral and supplementary feed for horses, farm livestock and petfood; production is carried out for almost all animal species. The portfolio is complemented by trading in raw materials for customers with the appropriate authorisation as well as consultancy in animal nutrition. Since 2021, a second production facility has been available, dedicated to products of animal origin such as green-lipped mussels, hyaluron, collagen, chondroitin and glucosamine.

Foundation of DELTA Tierernährung GmbH by Dipl. Ing. agr. sc. Gerald Hoheisel in Ainring.
- 2002
Introduction of QS and A-feed.
- 2003
Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 (until 2015) and HACCP.
- 2011
Relocation to Teisendorf in summer; larger premises and outdoor areas acquired.

Transition to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in November.

GMP+ certification; on 1 April the entire company shares were taken over by the Sonderen family.
