About Demandt Stahl- und Maschinenbau

Demandt Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH in Liesborn (North Rhine-Westphalia) is a family business which, according to its own statements, has around 300 years of company history and manufactures steel constructions, welded assemblies, special machinery and structural metalwork for industry, trade and public institutions. The range of services covers the complete program from planning, calculation and 2D/3D design (AutoCAD, Inventor, BOOST) through laser cutting (parts up to 1500 x 3000 mm) and plasma cutting (up to 2000 x 7000 mm), CNC-controlled sheet metal forming, sawing technology and MIG, MAG and TIG welding including welding robots for series production, right through to assembly and final assembly at home and abroad. Welded frames are manufactured up to 10 t dead weight; for conveyor technology the company supplies components and assemblies, including end stations for article picking in mail-order retail. Surface finishing includes hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, painting (airless), powder coating, pickling of stainless steel as well as an in-house blasting system. As a certified specialist welding company, Demandt works according to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC 3, DIN 18800 and EN 288-3 with an International Welding Engineer. References range from staircase systems for schools and senior facilities to free-form formwork shapes and petrol station canopies.
