About Demaurex
Demaurex SA is a Swiss manufacturer of Delta robots and pick-&-place systems for industrial handling and packaging. Founded in 1970 by Marc-Olivier Demaurex in Romanel, the company acquired the patent for the Delta robot developed at EPFL Lausanne in 1980 and has since installed more than 3,000 robots worldwide. The robotic cells orchestrate all primary and secondary packaging equipment and are controlled by the proprietary control software Gemini, developed in-house since around 1990. The offering is complemented by custom grippers (Préhensions), engineering services, prototypes and test benches, recipe and format adjustments, maintenance, spare parts, field service, training, as well as retrofit and modernization of older machine generations — including systems previously built under SIG and Bosch Packaging. After 25 years within large groups, Demaurex is today once again an independent family-owned company headquartered in Vufflens-la-Ville in the canton of Vaud, serving customers in over 40 countries, primarily in chocolaterie, biscuit and bakery industries, catering, as well as pharma and non-food.
