About the Laboratory
Dental Labor Kröger is an owner-managed master dental laboratory in Cologne that manufactures custom dental prosthetics for dental practices. The laboratory combines traditional craftsmanship with digital CAD/CAM technology: based on digital 3D scans, the prosthetic appliance is planned in CAD software and then manufactured from the blank by computer-controlled grinding or milling. The service portfolio includes crowns, bridges (full-cast, veneered and all-ceramic), inlays and partial crowns, combination work with telescopic and conical crowns or attachments, implant-supported restorations, partial and complete dentures, hybrid prosthetics (overdentures), splint therapy as well as wafer-thin ceramic veneers. Materials used include ceramics, plastics, high-performance PMMA for long-term provisionals, gold alloys and steel. The offering is complemented by gnathological concepts, shade determination in the laboratory or at the practice, repair services and professional denture cleaning. A courier team delivers several times a day throughout the greater Cologne area.

Materials & Processes
CAD/CAM manufacturing
Digital design and computer-controlled grinding/milling of dental prosthetics from the blank with high precision of fit.
Ceramics
Used for crowns, bridges, inlays, partial crowns and wafer-thin veneers in the visible anterior region.
High-performance PMMA
CAD/CAM-milled long-term provisionals with a natural colour gradient for several months of wear.
Gold alloys
Material for crowns, bridges, inlays and partial crowns in fixed prosthetics.
Steel
Material for crowns and bridges as well as full-cast bridges.
Plastics
Used for crowns as well as splint therapy such as bite guards, bruxism splints and anti-snoring splints.
