Central warehouse for the dental industry

Dental-Union GmbH operates one of the largest dental central warehouses in Europe, headquartered in Rodgau (Nieder-Roden), Hesse. The company, founded in 1967 in Offenbach, serves as a joint central warehouse for around 100 affiliated dental depots in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. More than 37,000 immediately available items from over 400 manufacturers are stocked on over 11,000 m² of warehouse space on two floors; a further around 57,000 items are procured at short notice, giving a total range of 94,000 dental products. About 9,000 parcels are picked and shipped daily. Orders arriving before 17:00 are processed the same day and reach the customer by parcel service the following day – in the name of the respective depot. The range includes, in addition to consumables, a central dental warehouse (including VITA, Dentsply Sirona, Ivoclar Vivadent, Shofu) and a central equipment warehouse. Since 2021, temperature-controlled shipping of medicinal products and medical devices has been carried out with trans-o-flex.

Founded in Offenbach on 25 April by the merger of various dental depots (including Hermann Heise, C. A. Lorenz, Dental-Moesgen, Kurt Neubauer, W. H. G. van der Ven & Co., Ad. & Hch. Wagner) to build a central warehouse.
1985
Relocation to Heusenstamm with capacity expansion.
1993
Acquisition of the building at Gutenbergring 7–9 in Rodgau; start of direct delivery by parcel service.

Expansion with hall 3, installation of a high-bay warehouse, opening of the canteen.
