About us
Der Allgäuschreiner is a carpentry business operating as a sole proprietorship, with a workshop in Sonthofen and a mailing address in Ofterschwang. Owner Dietmar Martin, a master carpenter, leads a team of around five people, including journeyman carpenters and a journeyman joiner; an apprenticeship position is currently advertised. The company produces custom furniture from the tree to the finished piece: kitchens, dining rooms, cabinets, cabin beds, doors and built-in features such as stove benches and wine cellar shelving. The materials processed are predominantly local woods such as oak, Swiss stone pine, spruce, maple, silver fir and reclaimed old wood, partly felled and seasoned according to the moon signs. The work includes planing, fine sanding as well as assembly and installation on site. Delivery takes place within Germany.
