The company originated in 2001 from an internet and network café in Oschatz and has operated as dercomputerladen SYSTEMHAUS GmbH since 2013. Foundation of House of Game Oschatz by Thomas Schupke on 05.10.2001; opening at Neumarkt 3 as an internet and network café with game rental.
- 2003
Opening of the Multi-Media-Center in Badergasse in Oschatz; focus on installation, repair and PC hardware.
- 2005
Merger of House of Game and Multi-Media-Center.
- 2007
Emergence of the name dercomputerladen; location on Hospitalstraße in Oschatz with three small shops and two employees.
- 2009
Move to Altoschatzer Straße 29; reopening on 14.11.2009 with approximately 140 m² and three employees.
- 2010
Online via dercomputerladen.de since 01.09.2010.
- 2011
Opening of the first branch outside Oschatz in Meißen (Neugasse 12, approx. 60 m²) on 01.07.2011.
- 2012
Additional office at Altoschatzer Straße 31; re-registration as dercomputerladen SYSTEMHAUS UG (haftungsbeschränkt) as of 01.02.2012.
- 2013
Conversion of the UG into a GmbH; Thomas Schupke and Volker Lecht passed the trainer aptitude examination; Meißen branch reopened at Zaschendorfer Straße 6.
- 2014
From 01.06.2014, the Meißen branch occupies approximately 220 m²; PC production was located in Meißen at that time.
- 2016
Acquisition of the Dresden computer shops playIT, Winner Computer and Sulus Computer; Tharandter Straße 67 becomes the central Dresden location; reopening of the Oschatz branch at Leipziger Straße 9 on 14.05.2016 with relocation of PC production to Oschatz.
- 2018
Move of the Meißen branch to Uferstraße 5, 01662 Meißen.
- 2019
dercomputerladen and derwerbeladen awarded by the city of Oschatz as Company of the Year 2019.
- 2021
20th anniversary with an open house day on 09.10.2021; temporary closure of the Meißen branch from 25.10.2021 due to staff shortage.
