About DERIVE
DERIVE is a design gallery founded in 2011 in Vienna, specializing in curated, original vintage furniture and lighting from Modernism through Mid-Century to contemporary design classics. The range includes works by designers and manufacturers such as Fontana Arte (Max Ingrand, Pietro Chiesa), Gino Sarfatti, Ettore Sottsass, Lobmeyr, Bakalowits, Stilnovo, Maison Jansen, Zanotta and Karl Springer. All pieces are carefully sourced, curated and, where needed, restored in the company's own workshop by experienced staff; individual customizations and styling advice with an architectural background are also offered. The gallery has been working with the platform 1stdibs for 14 years and serves interior designers, architects and collectors worldwide. Shipping is handled from Vienna worldwide with professional packaging and free in-house insurance. The gallery at Wolfgang-Schmälzl-Gasse is accessible by appointment only.
