About us

Derubis GmbH, based in Bad Urach, develops and manufactures caravans with GRP monocoque bodies. The entire living cell consists of a single piece of fiberglass and is produced in a closed mold using techniques inspired by nautical engineering – unlike conventional models with assembled panels. The composite material of fiberglass and polyurethane foam yields a seamless, waterproof shell without thermal bridges, ensuring stability, elasticity and thermal comfort. The company is built on more than 30 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry, from which the development of the caravans emerged. The body design is characterized by clean lines; interiors can be customized through furniture and fabric colors. Customers can configure their vehicles via an online configurator. The company is a member of the Caravaning Industrie Verband e. V. and has been awarded the German Design Award 2024 (Winner) and the German Innovation Award '24 (Special).
