Design25 GmbH & Co. KG operates schrankwerk.de, an online shop for made-to-measure furniture that is manufactured in its own furniture manufactory in Germany. The product range includes cabinets, shelving units, chests of drawers and sideboards, wardrobes, desks, office furniture, wall-mounted furniture as well as special solutions such as sloped-ceiling cabinets, corner cabinets, under-stairs cabinets, built-in wardrobes and washing machine cabinets. The centrepiece is a 3D configurator with which customers can define dimensions and fittings to the millimetre; the configuration data is transferred to production via a CAD program. Production uses 19 mm or 25 mm thick wood boards and particle boards of emission class E5 with decor panels from Egger and Pfleiderer, ABS edges, groove-fitted 8 mm back panels, and fittings from Hettich and Häfele. The precision work is carried out on computer-controlled machines, combined with over 90 years of experience in the cabinetmaking trade. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers a measuring service, planning and configuration service, assembly service, delivery throughout Germany, and a single-parts configurator for inserts and panels. Online since 2008, the static configurator was replaced by a 3D configurator in 2016. schrankwerk was the first furniture manufacturer in Germany to be certified with the Möbel Made in Germany label for configurable made-to-measure furniture.
