About Designwerk

Designwerk Technologies AG, headquartered in Winterthur, develops and manufactures electric trucks, charging technology for Fast, High Power and Mega Charging, as well as modular battery systems for electric vehicles. At its own Swiss plant, e-trucks are built in several cab variants (MID CAB, HIGH CAB, LOW CAB) for distribution logistics, long-haul transport, municipal applications and construction logistics, including the electrification of commercial vehicles and bodies according to customer requirements. The company has its own departments for mechanical engineering, industrial design, systems engineering, and electronics and software development, and also offers battery storage solutions, battery recycling, a monitoring system for operating data analysis, and contract development of individual solutions. Since its founding in 2008, Designwerk has operated as an engineering company for electromobility; its portfolio also includes rental of chargers, financing and leasing options, and support with subsidy programs. Customers include Galliker Transport AG, DPD (Schweiz) AG and Nissan; there is an exclusive partnership with KAISER for sewer cleaning vehicles. Since 2024, the company has been a member of the Volvo Group.
