About KLST
KLST Klinkhammer Steuerungstechnik has been developing and manufacturing control systems and components for lift systems since 1989. The product portfolio includes individual control solutions for new builds and modernisations – from hydraulic and traction lifts to group and destination control systems – as well as control cabinets, pre-wired car operating panels in brass or stainless steel and complete installation packages for shaft, machine room and car. The systems are fully CANopen-Lift compatible and compliant with EN 81-20/50; features include SSL-encrypted remote data transmission, monitoring and remote diagnostics. Around 35,000 control packages have been manufactured and delivered worldwide to date; in 2024, approximately 20% of revenue came from abroad. The company, headquartered in Zülpich (North Rhine-Westphalia), employs around 60 staff and serves hospitals, research institutions, office buildings and hotels as well as virtually all well-known lift manufacturers. Since 2025, KLST has been part of Mition GmbH Mittelstandsbeteiligungen.
