About Max B. Martin

Deutsche Signal-Instrumenten-Fabrik Max B. Martin GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures acoustic signalling and warning systems at its Philippsburg site in Baden-Württemberg. The product range includes the MARTIN-HORN® for fire brigade, rescue and special vehicles, signalling systems and break-warning systems for industrial plants, conveying technology, crane systems and ship engine rooms, as well as signal transmitters for CO₂ fire-extinguishing and sprinkler systems, compressed-air horns, ball horns and signal whistles. Production is carried out with a high level of in-house manufacturing depth, 100 percent in Germany, and comprises CNC turning, milling and drilling, CNC-controlled hydraulic metal spinning, cylindrical and surface grinding as well as laser technology; materials processed include brass, cast and steel parts and plastics. Signal trumpets and call horns are used, among others, by Deutsche Bahn, the ÖBB and the Dutch State Railways. The owner-managed family business with around 45 employees is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and is a recognised training company of the IHK Karlsruhe.
