About DGR Graphic
DGR Graphic GmbH was a mechanical engineering company founded in 1997 in Stemwede, based in Espelkamp from 2001, which developed, manufactured and sold machines and equipment for print finishing. The focus was on machines for book production in small and very small print runs, including a hardcover book line, a three-knife trimmer, the KM41 perfect binder and small-format casing-in machines, originally used for calendar production and special applications such as the manufacture of passports and Bibles. The machines were characterized by short changeover times without change parts and enabled economical single-copy and very small print run production in combination with digital printing. The company's own activities concentrated on design, assembly and customer support; manufacturing was outsourced and sales organized via cooperation partners. In addition, the company offered quality assurance systems such as the camera-based print image and barcode comparison system DGR OCS and the microbolometric glue control system DGR GC. As of 01.01.2025, business operations were permanently discontinued; the company is in liquidation.
