About us
Diamantwerkzeuge KRAUSS GmbH is a manufacturer of electroplated and sintered diamond and CBN tools based in Wilnsdorf-Anzhausen in the Siegerland region. The company produces special tools ranging from drill crowns and band saw blades to dental tools, with base bodies produced in-house to customer specifications from aluminium, carbon or steel. Complete manufacturing as well as new coating and recoating of tools is carried out in the in-house electroplating and sintering facilities; the in-house turning shop reconditions and repairs tools, including regrinding of PCD/CBN tools. The tools are suitable for machining materials such as refractory material, natural stone, graphite, concrete, asphalt, glass, plastics, GRP, marble and castings. Fields of application include foundries (deburring and fettling of spheroidal and grey cast iron parts on casting fettling machines), civil and structural engineering, the refractory industry, natural stone processing, dental technology and floor grinding. The company was founded in 1978 in Düren; Dirk Pfister has been managing director since 1995.
