diamat Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Dinkelsbühl (Bavaria), manufactures plastic extrusion lines for the packaging industry and plastics processing. The portfolio includes PET sheet extrusion lines, PS and PP extrusion lines, cast film lines, inline systems for direct handover to thermoforming machines, as well as downstream equipment ranging from material handling and crystallization and drying through to cutting and winding technology. A key focus is recycling: with certified Superclean degassing technology, up to 100 % post-consumer PET can be processed into transparent, superclean films and sheets for direct food contact – recognized by EFSA and FDA. The lines operate in 24/7 mode, produce film thicknesses of 100 to 2500 µm and feature Industry 4.0 automation software with HTML5 operator interfaces. In addition to standard lines, diamat offers customer-specific custom extruders on request. With more than 200 installed lines worldwide, the company serves customers internationally, most recently including Indonesia.

The Superclean degassing technology is FDA certified and enables the production of food-grade materials; the process is recognized by EFSA for up to 100 % post-consumer PET with direct food contact. The extrusion lines are equipped with Industry 4.0 automation software for continuous quality control.
